Married to Kip Brundage since August 2022, Yunaysy has been an essential part of Kip’s Cuban education since his first visit in 2009. She was a member of the wait staff in the Hotel Parque Central and served him his first meal the evening of his arrival, and was the first Cuban with whom he had a meaningful conversation.

They became immediate friends, and Yunaysy helped Kip navigate the politically complicated Cuban scene. Kip attended her son’s baptism and became friendly with her family. After both of them experienced changes in their personal lives, a romance bloomed.

Yunaysy speaks excellent English, and her 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry serving foreigners, as well as being Cuban, make her an excellent client coordinator. Her son Royce is in charge of improving Kip’s Spanish.

Yunaysy will manage registrations and maintain the website’s information and blog, ensuring that EyeCuba provides up-to-date and accurate information about our operations in Cuba.
